About the Center

The Emergencies, Crisis and Disasters Management Center - Abu Dhabi (ADCMC) was established pursuant to Law No. 22 in 2019 to elevate the Emirate’s preparedness in the face of emergencies, crises, and disasters.

The Center is responsible for drafting policies, strategies, and plans related to emergency, crisis, and disaster management. It conducts studies, field visits, and audit and evaluation operations to ensure entities are prepared to face challenges and recover quickly. The Center also plays a role in enhancing knowledge exchange and coordination with stakeholders and authorities. This is all aimed at elevating Abu Dhabi’s capability to effectively manage emergencies and crises.
